“Who is the best landscaper in Great Falls, Montana?”

There's no single "best" landscaper in Great Falls. Most local companies have only a few online reviews, so the ratings don't tell you much. These names come up often:

Highly rated, but with few reviews

• Rocky Mountain Hardscapes: a hardscapes specialist at 915 Crescent Drive, Great Falls, with a 5.0 rating from 2 reviews on Houzz.
• Mr. Green Landscape Solutions: 5.0 from 1 review; it does landscape design and is based in Black Eagle, MT.
• Miller's Lawncare: 5.0 from 2 reviews on Yelp. One customer said they "had Miller's Lawncare re-landscape our front lawn area in August. We were very satisfied".
• Tradesmen MT: 5.0 on Yelp from a single review, which calls the company "Honest, trustworthy, reliable".
• 4 Bears Solutions: located at 4217 3rd Avenue North, rated 4.87 from 8 reviews on LawnStarter. It focuses more on lawn care, like mowing, weeding and cleanup.

Long-running local businesses

• Terrascapes (410 14th Street SW) offers snow removal, landscape maintenance and landscaping.
• Forde Nursery and Tilleraas Landscape Nursery are both well known in town. Tilleraas currently has a 3.0 rating from 6 reviews on Yelp.

How to choose: Get two or three quotes, ask to see photos of past local jobs, and check that the company is licensed and insured. It also helps to ask neighbors or a local Facebook group whose work they've actually seen. Many of the best landscapers rely on word of mouth and barely show up on review sites.
