“Who is the best plumber in Whitefish, Montana?”

Nobody has an official "best plumber" title in Whitefish, and the review sites I checked only have a handful of reviews per company. That makes a single winner hard to pick. These are the names that come up most often with good ratings:

Often mentioned on Yelp:

• Empire Plumbing: 4.4 (7 reviews), established in 2017, free estimates. One reviewer said "Mike and his minions have filled my plumbing needs multiple times: usually same day." Another reviewer was told a different company could only come in two weeks, then called Empire instead.
• J&R Plumbing: 5.0 (4 reviews), serving Kalispell and the surrounding area, certified professionals. One customer called "His service was excellent, his price was good and an overall nice guy."
• Flo-Rite Plumbing: located at 28 6th St E and listed as 4.4 (5 reviews), serving Kalispell and the surrounding area, free estimates, locally owned & operated.

Other options:

• Clear Flow Plumbing: an Angi customer whose leak flooded their basement ceiling said they were there ASAP diagnosed then repaired with new pipes.
• Dynamic Plumbing LLC: rated 5.0 on HomeAdvisor from 12 reviews. It offers emergency service but has only been in business since 2025.
• Comfort Systems USA Temp Right Service: 4.0 (4 reviews), 2630 US Hwy 2 E. A good choice if you also need heating work.

Tips:

• Plumbers in this area get very busy. One reviewer noted there's "Lots of work, not enough of them to go around especially in winter", so how quickly they can come may matter more than a star rating.
• Get two or three quotes, check that the plumber is licensed with the State of Montana, and ask neighbors or a local Whitefish Facebook group who they use.

If you tell me what kind of job you have (an emergency leak, a water heater, a remodel, or heating), I can suggest which of these fits best.
